Hello everyone!
I am currently sitting with my cousin on the back porch of my aunt's house. Yesterday I left Bradley International Airport, and later landed at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport. I went to baggage claim, grabbed my luggage, and called my cousin with a solid low battery of 9%. Therefore, when we headed to a nearby area called Piñones (an area known for it's good traditional Puerto Rican fried foods, among other things) I wasn't able to take pictures. We walked on the beach and sat on rocks while eating a bacalaito. I bought a pincho before we left as well. I wish I could have captured the moments when we were driving away from the airport and along the beach to get to Piñones. The wind, palm trees, and smell of beach made the moment feel quite close to perfect. I felt so happy to be home.
We later went to my other cousin's house in Guaynabo for a bit, and left when it was at night. We stopped for yogurt at
Yogen Früz. After yogurt we walked through the plaza to a grocery store called Amigos to buy some toiletries that I had made a list for. Today I will be hanging out at the house I am staying at because my cousin is in the middle of his finals week and has to study. My next posts will be on a mini tour of where I am staying, and the mini adventures that will most likely occur within the next few days. However, once my cousin is finished with his finals my adventures will become much more interesting, and ultimately my posts will as well. I love sharing my adventures with all of you!
