The night I went to life in color was amazing! My cousin and I got ready, and headed out to pick up 3 of his friends. It would have been four, but one of those friends actually lost their ticket. We sadly had to leave him behind. We headed out with the rest of the group around 6:30 p.m and hit traffic in San Juan by 7:00 p.m.
Once we arrived at the arena where Life In Color was being held, we parked and started walking towards the what looked like a never ending line of people waiting to enter. Luckily we were in line for only about 2 hours. When we got closer to the front of the line we were split up by gender and then searched. My cousin got through security before the three other girls and I. Once we had all past security we met up, and that is when the unforgettable night began.
The local, but well known DJs who opened the show were still playing. Everyone was there for Alvin Risk and Borgore. We walked around for a bit and I saw food and paint being sold at every corner. After a bit of walking around we went to stand in the crowd and listen to the local DJs that were playing. There was a pretty good amount of people already. My cousin put me on his shoulders and a photographer up front told me to pose for a picture. I had my cool red nerd glasses on, too. That pretty much made my night. However once the crowd started getting bigger, and Alvin Risk was almost ready to perform became even more excited.
Finally Alvin Risk came out, and started mixing. This is when you saw everyone jump when the beat dropped. My cousin had told me about this awesome moment when you're in the crowd, and the music is so loud that you feel the bass in your body when you put your hand to your chest. This happened to me it, and it was one of the coolest things ever.
I looked up at one point and there was a crescent moon in the sky. I looked at the stage, and I could see Alvin Risk mixing. The lights were purple, green, and pink. I smelled the air, and remembered I was in Puerto Rico, and that made the moment about ten times better. My night was amazing.
Borgore came out and mixed later. My cousin had showed me some of his songs earlier in the day, and they sounded so much sicker live then they did through a Mac pro on YouTube. Borgore finished the show around 3:00 a.m, and closed by yelling "Gracias Puñeta" to the crowd. It was great!
After this, my cousin, our group and the friend who had lost his ticket that ended up making it after all, got into my cousin's car and sat in the parking lot to wait out the traffic. Thousands of people drenched in paint blasted music from their cars. Some where in the line of cars waiting to head out, and others seemed to be waiting out the traffic like us. When traffic calmed down a bit, we headed out to bring everyone home. My cousin, and I got home and slept until 2 o'clock in the afternoon.
P.S there was said to have been more than 20,000 people in the audience!
Well everyone, my next post will be on my uncle's high school graduation(Yep, I have an uncle who is a year younger than I am) Talk to you all soon!!

Quick story behind this one! I saw people taking pictures.. Didn't pay much mind.. Then my cousin calls me over and says to come take a picture, because he knows the photographers.. Then this ended up online! Unfortunately my cousin was getting up from fixing his shoe when the picture was taken!
