My uncle is actually a year younger than me. He just graduated high school,and I was luckily enough to be able to attend the graduation! He lives with my grandmother on the coast and attends a high school out there. My cousin Heidy and I headed out a bit early and spent the night at my grandmother's. However, to get to the town where my cousin Heidy lives,I had to take the train. So,
my cousin Jerome dropped me off at the train station and told me what station to get off at next.
My cousin Heidy picked me up at the station I stopped at. We stayed at her house for a bit and then finally headed to my grandma's. I was in casual clothes until I got to my grandma's and changed into what I would where to the graduation. When I arrived to the house I began to get ready. Once my cousin and grandma got back from buying my grandmother shoes we headed out.
The graduation was being held in the plaza of the town which is located in the center.
Many events are often held in the plazas of towns in Puerto Rico. It made sense that the graduation was being held at the plaza of the town because it is the only high school the town has.
The ceremony was supposed to start at 6:00 p.m., but we arrived at 6:30 p.m and the ceremony had yet to start. It began to rain and we were forced to stand under the entrance of a store. An hour later the ceremony finally started! We were able to see Anthony get his diploma, and then headed home for a great dinner that my grandma has prepared for us.
