My cousin came barging into what was technically his room, but was being occupied by me at the time. He tells me to get up, and help get all the food into the car that we were bringing to the condo in Fajardo. I see my aunt packing a small amount of random items of food. I thought to myself "This is not at all what we should be bringing." However, in that instant I decided to keep my comments to myself. We packed the food into the car, hitched the bikes to the rack on the rear of the car, and grabbed all our personal belongings.
Once we headed out for the 2 hour drive to the coast my aunt contacted everyone who was staying with us for the weekend. This condo that we were staying at was owned by my aunt's friend. She had allowed my aunt to borrow it for her birthday weekend. My aunt had invited all of her kids, their families, and her sister who was on vacation from the U.S. Everyone was so excited to be at the condo because it was air conditioned, and had gorgeous in ground pools.
Once we got to the Condo in Fajardo we brought the food into the kitchen, unhitched the bikes, and chose a room out of the three to put our belongings in. Now, I say three rooms, but these rooms each had two bunk beds. One room had its own bathroom. They were huge. A second bathroom in the hallway outside was used by the occupants of the other rooms. Once everything was close to completely unpacked, I changed, grabbed my towel, and headed over to the pool. The pool area was very big, with two long pools that laid horizontally, one on top of the other. The pool above allowed water to fall into the pool below making the whole scene great for photo shoots later that weekend.
I tanned and put on photo shoots with my cousin all weekend long. At night we would go out to Walgreens to buy chocolate, or stay in and have my aunt make us oatmeal. One night about ten of us sat on the couch and watched "Atlantis." There were only two children out of the ten of us tentatively watching the animated movie that the majority of us had seen once before. During the day we would go swimming, and eat tuna sandwiches. I loved the time that I got to spend with my family.
On our way to Fajardo!
And we made it to the Condo!
Gated community, so we had to be let in.
From the couch you see the kitchen and the back entrance.
A bit more to the left of the kitchen was the dinning room table, and that beautiful view! To the right of the kitchen you would the hall way that leads into the bedrooms.
Let's tan!
Fashion is my thing. I knew I had to many colors on. At least my tan was nice!
Improper grammar and punctuation on Snapchat is a must. I'm still a nice girl.
Photo shoot with my cousin who is a professional photographer! She took this with my IPhone!
The beautiful pool area. There were sunnier days that weekend.
My nights were just as beautiful and intriguing as my days. I miss Puerto Rico so much.
